Who and What
Who can certify a document
A solicitor or notary will certify a document as follows:
1. Original
2. Copy (you need to present the original)
When a document is signed in front of the solicitor/notary, they will witness the signature of the person signing.
Once again, the type of certification you will need, depends
on the intended purpose and you will have to make sure if an original is really required or if a copy of the original document will do as in a number of cases you may only have one original.
Documents that we can certify
-
Certificates of Incorporation Memorandum and Articles of Association Resolutions/Minutes
-
Certificates of Good Standing or Facts
-
Confirmation Statements (can be certified by Companies House)
-

Tax Certificates and other official HMRC documents
-

Personal Documents
We can also assist in certifying personal documents. The certification and if an original document is required will depend on the type of document (birth certificate, proof of address, passport, criminal record and so on) . Therefore, we suggest you email us what document you want to certify and we will advise you how we can help.
Translations and Certification of Translations
-
If you need to translate and certify this translation of a document that’s not written in English we can assist. Please email us the document and we will provide you with a quote.
-
Our certified translators who can translate documents from more than 140 languages will confirm that the document is a true and accurate translation of the original document, date it and include the full contact detail.
-
Afterwards the document would still have to be certified by a solicitor/notary.
